SARVΩm Beta Privacy Policy

This is a short Privacy Policy for the SARVΩm beta. It is product and data-use information. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. This page should be read together with the Important Information About SARVΩm Beta notice.

Who SARVΩm is

SARVΩm is a life-admin and pre-accounting workspace. It is designed to help you capture, organise, review, and prepare bills, receipts, documents, reminders, and related records before you or an accountant complete formal accounting or tax work elsewhere.

For privacy, support, or related questions during beta, contact SARVΩm using the details below.

Beta support contact (display only — there is no automated SMS or WhatsApp service):

What information SARVΩm may collect

Depending on how you use SARVΩm, this may include:

  • Account details such as name, email, password (stored hashed), and related sign-in records.
  • Uploaded documents and files you choose to add.
  • App records and metadata, such as dates, amounts, categories, reminders, and activity needed to operate the workspace.
  • Optional Email Auto data if you connect Gmail, including supported email information, snippets or previews, attachments, and extracted suggestions.
  • Optional Audio Journal content, and AI transcription or summary content if you use those features.
  • Optional Accountant Preparation Workspace (APW), collaborator, or accountant-preparation records you create or share.
  • Feedback and support messages you send.

You choose what you upload or connect. Do not upload or send passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Why SARVΩm uses information

  • To operate the service and provide your account.
  • To provide the features you select.
  • To store and organise records you add.
  • To provide AI-assisted extraction, transcription, or summarisation when you choose those features.
  • For support, security, troubleshooting, and improvement of the beta.

Storage and service providers

Account details, app records, and related metadata are stored in SARVΩm’s hosted application database. Uploaded document files are stored in private cloud storage on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

AWS operates under a shared responsibility model. AWS is responsible for the security of the cloud. SARVΩm and its operators are responsible for how the service is configured and used, including access controls and application settings.

Hosted app, database, and related service providers may process limited information to run SARVΩm.

If you enable Email Auto, Gmail / Google may process inbox information under that connection. Email Auto uses read-only Gmail access. It does not send emails, delete emails, or use Gmail content for marketing.

If you use AI-assisted features, selected document text, email previews or snippets, attachment extracts, audio, or transcript text may be sent to an AI service for processing.

If billing is enabled, payment providers may process limited billing information needed to charge or manage a subscription.

Trusted service providers may process limited information to operate, host, secure, maintain, and improve SARVΩm. This is not a claim that information never leaves SARVΩm’s own systems.

What SARVΩm does not do

  • SARVΩm does not sell personal information.
  • SARVΩm does not use uploaded documents, email-derived records, financial records, journal content, or account information for advertising or marketing.

Sensitive Important Documents

Sensitive Important Documents may require an extra unlock step. That is an extra access boundary inside the app. It is not end-to-end encryption and not a separate encrypted vault.

No online system is risk-free

SARVΩm uses practical controls intended to reduce risk, including password hashing, HTTPS in production, controlled account access, and private document storage. They do not eliminate all security or data-loss risk. SARVΩm does not guarantee that no data will be lost or that no security incident can occur.

Changes

This policy may change as the beta develops. When it does, the current version will be shown on this page.
